La Pedrera


Change of plans!

I ended up going with a group to La Pedrera. A small school in the area that has a partnership with my school. I worked with 6 kids in 3 to 5th grade. We played around the world with multiplications and then later we learned the Head, and Sholders song! Then we played Kick ball with the whole school.


The school functions like a one room school house. There is one teacher and probably about 20 or more students. I´m not sure how many normally come. It was fun! It was like working with one of my students at Centro that doesn´t speak english only it was all the students! The only thing is that it was spur of the moment and we were just put with the kids and she said... you can do whatever you want to do with them! That was a little hard. So today we just mostly did math games etc.

Going to Pedrera is something I wanted to do... I just didn´t know it would so fast!
